Kayak, Surf, Hike & MORE!

Our kayak tour was in south Maui, and was a blast!  We had a ton of fun and did some incredible snorkeling at spots that are hard to get to from the shore (without a kayak.)  Our full review can be found…

You're taken on a tour of a working pineapple plantation and to the factory during work hours.  During the tour,…

Ho'olawe Valley & Stream

One of the most scenic areas to visit on Maui is the Ho'olawa Valley, Stream, and Waterfalls.  Located only 15 minutes from Paia Town on the Hana Highway, this area is often referred to as Twin Falls or Wailele Farm.  The valley has 2 stream that become one.  There are several waterfalls along the stream, which is why it is called Wailele Farm (Waterfall Farm.)  …

Humpback Whale Behavior

During the winter months, Hawaii waters are important breeding, calving and nursing grounds for the North Pacific population of endangered humpback whales.  After being hunted to near extinction, humpbacks were offered international protection in 1965 and were listed as an endangered species in early 1970's.  In 1992, the US Congress designated the waters off Maui County and other…

It's true, a new Lahaina snorkel rental shop is giving away free snorkel gear rentals for the grand opening of The Snorkel Store!

Why?  They say they're willing to take on the cost of each rental in order to promote the shop and meet visitors.  Sounds good to me.  Even though they said it's for a limited time only,…
