Originally from the Bay Area, I initially realized my passion for photography while taking a film photography class at Los Gatos High School, and that passion led me to continue my studies at Cal State University, Long Beach, where I graduated with a BA in Studio Art (photography) and received a minor in Business Entrepreneurship.

During and after college, I worked with two established Los Angeles and Orange County based wedding photographers, and they helped shape me into the photographer that I am today.
In October 2012, my then-boyfriend (now husband!) and I moved to Maui from San Clemente, CA, and absolutely love calling this magical island our home. We live in the peaceful jungle of Haiku with our cat, Kaia, and officially became husband and wife in the summer of 2018!
Some other fun facts: I have been a San Jose Sharks fan for the past 19 years, I am an ESFJ-A on the MBTI personality test, my husband & I are both Aries, and when I’m not working, I’m spending time with my husband, meeting friends at the beach, listening to business podcasts, or watching: Big Brother / Survivor / Amazing Race.
My Style
I would describe my posing style as timeless, fun, romantic, and happy, and I would describe my photography style as light, bright, & airy with warm true-to-real life editing. I am constantly inspired by soft neutral color palettes, as well as by the gorgeous tropical scenery found here on Maui. I am always looking for beautiful and flattering light to photograph my couples in, and I strive to create natural looking images that don’t appear too stiff or forced. My goal at every wedding is to encourage my couples to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera, to help ensure that I bring out the most genuine expressions on their wedding day. I give plenty of guidance and direction to achieve the ideal amount of both natural and posed photos, while also capturing candid moments as they occur throughout the day as well. I am laid back and easy to work with, but also very detail-oriented and assertive, and I love building a friendship with all of my wonderful and sweet clients
