Just a small example of recent Maui wedding photography by LightSea Images.

They say that if you do something you love it will never seem like work. That’s how I feel about photography.   My clients enjoy relaxed, photojournalistic style sessions that capture their essence.  Whether you want me to document your intimate beach wedding, family vacation photos, lifestyle portraits or corporate head shots, you will come away with unique images and a fun experience.  
Lifestyle portrait sessions are not stiff and posed, but more a fun outing with your family or friends.  We will incorporate activities that display your unique personalities.  
Weddings are fun, too.  I include all the usual family photos desired along with coverage of the ceremony.  The photos of the happy couple are less posed and more spontaneous. I also really enjoy photographing surprise marriage proposals and can help you plan the perfect moment.
Maui offers diverse locations ranging from lush gardens, upcountry pastures and, of course, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Let me know what your vision is for your images and I’ll do my best to make it so.  I’m also available to travel to other islands or anywhere worldwide.

My fiancée and I had a vision of exactly what we wanted for our small, intimate Maui wedding: simple, in an exceptional setting with a wonderful photographer to capture the moment that will be valued for the rest of our lives. I’m happy to say we succeeded on all counts! The Red Sand Beach (Kaihalulu), outside Hana, was a stunning setting and Llevellyn from Lightsea Images, along with Michael, did an exceptional job. Llevellyn and Michael were both extremely friendly and easy to work with. And in a neat twist, it turned out we all have a shared background of being Georgia natives! Llevellyn consistently communicated with us and even advised me that I needed to obtain a special permit for the beach wedding. Additionally, Llevellyn’s fee was incredibly competitive with other photographers on the island. We all met at the trailhead, along with our officiant and the best man/father-of-the bride, and trekked down a somewhat dangerous cliff-side trail to the secluded beach. Llevellyn and Michael were both friendly and funny – just like us. We were always at ease and Llevellyn’s photos highlighted the love and playfulness we felt on the beach, both during and after the ceremony. He knew exactly how to get some amazing shots, not only of us close-up, but also from vantage points that showcased the incredible cove, ocean, and cliffs surrounding us. I would highly recommend LightSea Images – we could not be more pleased! Llevellyn is a very special professional who – at every turn – offered more than he needed to. The customer service was exceptional. Further, he is an incredibly talented artist who beautifully captured the best day of our lives on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
